One particular exam coming up on Friday could possibly test us on personality disorder (a part of the psychology component of the module), convinced I was a blatant obsessive compulsive personality (which, is different to OCD) I set out to find out what I really was. Low and behold, the results!

I finally remembered http://www.nationstates.net existed!

For those of you not in the know, it is essentially a site where you create a "nation" and then fool around with its legislation so it is moulded and crafted into whatever twisted political ideals you have. Not difficult at all, you choose how many "issues" who want sent each day/week, and then pick an answer (normally out of 3) - that's it! You can also join the UN the add an interesting angle, although that's a more advanced stage in your development.

I also got them to recover my old nation - The People's Most Cordial Union of Maniacal Bastards!

I also created 4 more, each with the purpose of being extremes in their own right:

The Dominion of Nincompoopia - Even a teabag could run things better!

Hello boys, girls, piglets all

This week has been mondo crazy. As well as unveiling my penchant for the word 'mondo', I've been preparing for this Anaphylaxis lark which is NEXT WEEK! I planned to do a video in the same style as Brass Eye (including myself as all the characters), the unfortunate side of things was that I had one Wednesday afternoon to film the 15 minute masterpiece. What fun I had trying to get it done, and I think fate is telling me it's never meant to be:

1)My cameraman withdraws
2)My backup cameraman withdraws
3)My props are delievered late
4)Subsequently miss the last weekend for potential filming
5)A videocamera is hard to acquire when there's one for the whole cast and crew to use

On the Wednesday

1)Said videocamera is not given to me
2)Have to drive over and pick up said videocamera
3)Said videocamera was left on
3)Battery was flat
4)Backup battery was flat
5)It starts snowing, need to delay filming
6)It gets dark - forced to use nightmode for a 'dance scene'
7)Forced to find Sony USB drivers for the camera
8)Forced to improvise a USB cable
9)Currently going frantic looking for a means (and a free moment) to acquire missing Sony video uploading software - which is essential, and utterly atrocious of Sony to make this mandatory.

So you can see I'm having a laugh. Busy busy busy

Got a taekwondo competition on Saturday in Warwick, so nice up and early for, then gotta get back for a 21st meal in the evening. Plus possibly a rgby match against Law on the Sunday. Coupled with 9 til 6 lectures all week (that's right folks, the undergrad office can't organise for shh..ugar) and the need to do post-production on this damned video for monday, I may just have to explode all over this room!

Update: Went down to the Sony Store, they gave me a number to call. Paid £25 for the CD, and it should be here tomorrow. should I miss it, then will have to pick it up on Monday and all goes tits up, as I have one evening to do it! As Tuesday is my birthday - to whihc you are all invited to!
